As Head of Marketing, Matthias Krömer is responsible for product management, user interface design and commercial control at Vodafone TV. Since the global “Home TV Competence Center” was established in Eschborn, Krömer has built up a team of TV and marketing experts. After intense design and development phases, the team successfully launched the hybrid “Broadcast & IP Service” in February 2011. Krömer had previously served in global project management as Head of Built-in Mobile Broadband at the Vodafone Group’s offices in London. In that capacity, he played a key role in helping establish mobile data services as one of the company’s core products, most recently with the Europe-wide introduction of netbooks with integrated data cards. Krömer has spent several years working in France and the United States. He holds an engineering degree from RWTH Aachen University and an MBA from the University of Reading’s Henley Business School.
