Opening with Glotzbach and Ebeling
ProSiebenSat.1-CEO Thomas Ebeling and Matthew Glotzbach, YouTube's Managing Director EMEA, will be holding this year's opening keynotes at the Berlin International Media Convention on Monday, Sept. 3, at 11.00 a.m. at the ICC Berlin.
"Digital Values. Cross-linkage, Competition New Opportunities to Access Content" is the subject of the the opening event, focussing on what value creation looks like in a networked media world as well as on how media, communication offerings and our digital society are likely to develop in the coming years: The boundaries between existing media genres are increasingly dissolving under pressure from rapid technological development. Competition has become international and new players, including internet networks, telecoms and platform operators, are now direct competitors in the content business. What does all of this mean for the future of traditional TV and content brands? Which audiovisual platforms are set to prevail among audiences and users?
Participants in the following panel discussion will be Conrad Albert, ProSiebenSat.1-Head Legal, Distribution & Regulatory Affairs, Marcel Düe, Founder and Managing Director of the social discovery tv-guide Tweek, Matthew Glotzbach (s. above), the new ZDF-Director of programming Norbert Himmler, rbb-Director Dagmar Reim and Fremantle Digital Head Claire Tavernier. Host: Frank Thomsen, Chief Editor, stern.de.
