medianight'11 with the Boulevard of Stars!

Star guests, a full house and networking into the wee hours of the morning: On the first day of the International Media Congress, Medienboard, gfu and the Boulevard of Stars were host to around 1000 guests from the economy, media and political sectors. German Minister of State for Culture, Bend Neumann, opened the event, followed by a welcome by Medienboard Managing Directors Elmar Giglinger and Kirsten Niehuus, together with Boulevard of Stars Managing Director Georgia Tornow. Among the guests were Boulevard of Stars new star recipients Martina Gedeck, Anke Engelke, Jutta Hoffmann, Til Schweiger and Jost Vacano, as well as many other prominent guests. A special highlight of the evening was 101-year-old two-times Oscar winner Luise Rainer, who travelled to Berlin especially for the occasion.
