Marco de Ruiter, Chief Operating Officer MTV Networks North

In February 2002, Marco de Ruiter became Vice President Finance & Operations for MTV Networks Benelux in the Netherlands. In January 2007, his position as Chief Financial Officer MTV Networks North was expanded to include responsibility for the Scandinavian countries of Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.

In July 2008, de Ruiter became Chief Operating Officer at MTV Networks North, managing the company's operative business in the Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, Austria, Norway and Finland. He was also responsible for the field of Technology and Distribution in the entire North Region.

Marco de Ruiter was born in 1970 near Rotterdam and completed studies in business administration at HES Rotterdam. Stops along his earlier professional path include managing his own Internet company and acting as chief operating officer for a number of companies in different countries, including Shell and Ceteco.
