Cecilia Bäcklander, Head of the department for adult educational TV and radio programs, UR, Sweden

Cecilia Bäcklander is presently head of the department for adult educational TV and radio programs within UR.  She has more than 30 years of experience in media production as a manager of multimedia projects and producer of TV and radio programs. Subjects were mostly related to social and economic issues.

Cecilia Bäcklander was rewarded with several Swedish and international prices for her documentaries, which mostly concentrate on cultural and social issues. At the moment she is producing numerous contributions for the Swedish Television (STV) on racism and hostility against strangers.
