Benjamin Ruth (35) is the founder and managing director of VICE Deutschland. VICE is an international media company with headquarters in New York and offices in over 30 countries worldwide. The company is active in a number of business fields, including the publication of a monthly lifestyle magazine, VBS.tv, VICE Films, VICE TV, VICE Books, VICE Events and the creative production agency VIRTUE. Since 2007, Ruth has also acted as head of the activities of VBS.tv Deutschland.

VBS.tv is an international Web stream TV broadcaster that broadcasts exclusively their own productions. Diverse VBS.tv formats have already been licensed to linear TV in both short and long form. The VBS.tv productions "Heavy Metal in Baghdad" and "White Lightnin" were shown as part of the official programs at the Berlin Film Festival, the Toronto Film Festival and Sundance.

Benjamin Ruth holds a Master's from the London School of Economics and an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa, Madrid.
