Jon Handschin, Founder and Head of Product Development & Internationalization, moviepilot GmbH/ jetfilm GmbH

Jon Michael Handschin, born in 1975, made his Master of Economics and Management Science at Humboldt University, Berlin. He has been working in the film industry since 2000. After working as a producer for Nico Hofman's teamWorx Television and Film GmbH he founded his own distribution and production company jetfilm GmbH with his partner Tobias Bauckhage. Embracing the evolving technological changes Tobias and Jon started moviepilot in 2007: both companies focus on the digital distribution of motion picture content.

moviepilot aims at the demand side of distribution and offers its users the first completely personalised recommendation guide for Theatrical-, Video on Demand- , DVD- and Television-Film consumption. Besides its operations in the German speaking territories, moviepilot has just launched its international Beta Versions in the UK, Spain, France and Poland. Currently, the Berlin based company has 22 employees.
